Thank you for visiting our site. Corkwood is situated In Walkerville,halfway between Johannesburg and Vereeniging, about 15min from Southgate. It was initially created as a horse show venue that has evolved into a budget function venue catering for up to 120 people. A permanent marquee attached to the main building accommodates another 80 guests. A maximum 200 guests combined. The venue has become a niche venue for people who do not want to spend tens of thousands of rands on a single day for a wedding or function. The opportunity to have an affordable wedding by doing the setup and self catering yourself, makes this possible.There are various options available that try and suite every occasion. As a self catering venue you can design your own function and environment creating the beautiful day you deserve and will be proud of and it will cost a fraction of the price of what an occasion like this usually costs. The venue comes with a kitchen equipped with stoves and freezers so that you or your caterer can do all the preparation on site. We also hire out all the crockery and cutlery etc that you may need.
