Avina''''s Refuge NPC is Section 18A Public Benefit Organisation (No: 930054449) registered in 2016 for the purpose of providing loving family homes for abused, abandoned and orphaned children. Our vision is to help as many children as possible to be placed with families rather than in institutions. Every child deserves to grow up in a loving home with caring parents and siblings who will love them and help them to grow up to become valued citizens of our country. Our children are either adopted or fostered on a long-term foster basis. The children are the future of South Africa and therefore we would like to see them all become valued citizens of this country.

A Home for abused, abandoned and orphaned children. Training and support for parents looking to adopt or foster children. Counselling for young pregnant mothers. Adoption advice and service for unwanted babies.
