2012 Stationery Drive
"A colour pencil, draws a thousand dreams....
A Pencil and a dream can take you anywhere....."
There are children that go to school without a pencil.....40 learners share the class pencil.... Education is the cornerstone to our success.
The new year heralds the start of the school year. With many learners having to go to school without stationery. We understand the need and value for education. Please assist us to support this stationery drive, so that our learners go to school with a positive message and with a pencil set that aids their learning.
This annual stationery drive, has run for 5 years. 2011 reached an all time peak with stationery being distributed to over 4000 learners. This initiative was welcomed with amazing support from corporates and the public at large. We were able to reach schools across Gauteng, extending to Limpopo, KZN and Cape Town. This programme aims to ensure that every child across South Africa has their own basic stationery at the start of each year.
For the forthcoming year, new boundaries have been set for our stationery drive, please help us to achieve these goals. Please kindly consider this as a possible project for 2012. The goal is to touch 10 000 little lives and give them everything they need as they start the year. This is a call to action for citizen's to do good and support those around them too.
Through the work that is done, we ensure that there is an educational element and foundation that is put into place. We contribute towards the building of the young characters, of the children that we interact with on a daily basis. Learning thrives in a productive environment, and by educating and greening, we are able to accomplish something special. Simultaneously the children receive knowledge, a healthier environment and a broader perspective.
A healthy environment, allows for a healthy hunger for education and learning to flourish.
"Our children are our greatest investment as we move forward. There is no worthier cause than the care of the future generations."
2012 is our decade celebration, our aim is to distribute 10 000 stationery packs, we can only do this with your support........
